OPEN EVENING – 24th SEPTEMBER 2026
Our Open Evening will take place on Thursday 24th September 2026, and prospective students, parents and carers are warmly invited to join us.
This is a fantastic opportunity to see what Lostock Hall Academy is all about and discover what we have to offer. During the evening, you will have the opportunity to:

- Discover our curriculum, enrichment opportunities and wider school experience
- Ask any questions you may have
- Take a tour of our Academy and see our facilities

ACADEMY PLACES FOR SEPTEMBER 2027
If your child is currently in Year 6 you must apply for a secondary school place from September 2026. You must submit an application even if an older sibling is already at the school. This must be done via the Lancashire County Council website or by following this link - LCC Secondary School Application - intake 2027
If you are a non-Lancashire resident, please apply through your own local authority.
Before submitting any applications, please read the admission criteria for your preferred school. These should be available on the school’s website or can be obtained directly from the school office.
LATE APPLICATIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 2027
Applications received after the Lancashire County Council published admission deadline will be classed as late applications and will be processed after all applications received by the deadline.
If you need to submit an application after the deadline has passed, please use the LCC Late School Application service.
A Supplementary Information Form (SIF) is not required for an application to Lostock Hall Academy.
Once you have submitted your application to Lancashire County Council, you will receive an email confirming that your application has been received.
OFFERS
For the September 2027 intake, offers will be issued electronically on Monday 1st March 2027 to all applicants who submitted an online application by the deadline. Letters will be sent by second-class post in April 2027 to applicants who submitted a paper application.
